H-1B Worker

To obtain an H-1b visa, the most common non-immigrant work visa, you must have a U.S. employer offering you a position that qualifies. A qualifying job will fit the below criteria: 

The Employee must:

  1. Have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the job offered.
  2. Be in a valid and legal status, if currently residing in the US.

The Employer must:

  1. Offer a job that normally requires the equivalent of a US bachelor’s degree to be hired.
  2. Offer a wage that meet prevailing wage rules as set forth by the US Department of Labor.
